WebMail Assistant integrates directly with accounts from the leading web-based e-mail providers MSN Hotmail and Yahoo Mail.

The program is designed to extend the capabilities of Hotmail and Yahoo Mail, and to make them faster and easier to use. It also lets you save important data like messages and address book information on your own hard drive, where you own/control it, and lets you easily exchange messages and addresses between multiple e-mail accounts.

With inbox/spam management you can easily check/clear multiple e-mails in any folder using keyboard shortcuts, and automatically check all unread messages or likely SPAM messages. This lets you quickly get rid of unwanted messages and move/delete groups of messages with a few clicks of the mouse.

Features include a local address book, e-mail templates/stationary, mail merge, mailto: link support, and the ability to save messages to folders on your hard drive. You can still reply to/forward locally saved messages using your Hotmail/Yahoo account.
