Description

DesktopKeeper is a useful utility that includes a virtual desktop manager, wallpaper manager, windows manager, desktop icons protector, desktop intruders locker and more.

The program saves the icons layout and shortcuts from the Windows desktop to a file. The filename is automatically composed, taking into consideration the screen resolution, current date and time. It then restores the shortcuts and icons layout out of the file, checks if the desktop layout has changed in comparison with the previous saved file, hides/shows the Windows system icons on the desktop and hides/shows all icons on the desktop.

DesktopKeeper can also set transparent icons text for Windows, block the desktop unauthorized access (by hot-key or popup menu), minimize all opened windows, close all opened windows, and launch the screen saver (by hot-key or popup menu).

Other features include quick changing screen resolution, two virtual desktops: working and private, hot key to maximize/minimize any window, fast windows killer, making useful shortcuts for your desktop, start menu and quick launch bar, and smart cycling windows.
