ArtIcons Pro allows you to find and extract icons, create and edit icons, import and export icons and manage icon libraries. You can create and edit icons with image formats in standard and custom sizes, and in colour depths of up to 16 million colours.The program contains different paint tools, including enhanced gradient and chess fillings.

You can import icons, capture screens, export icon images, extract icons from Windows executables and libraries.You can also create icon libraries for more efficient icon storage. ArtIcons lets you scan files and folders for icons, delete equal icons, or sort icons in libraries. You can copy and paste icons in libraries, as well as to other applications.

Features include the possibility to open libraries with some corrupted icons, import from WAP bitmaps, multi-language interface support, actual transparency use while moving or copying images, support for the new icon format introduced in Windows XP, support for semitrasparent PNG images, new flood fill patterns and effects, and support for XPM, XBM and WBMP formats.
